Emma had always trusted her husband Daniel, but for weeks she noticed something strange: every night around 2 a.m., Daniel would wake up, check his phone, and leave the bedroom. One night, after he fell asleep, Emma saw a message from a contact saved as “Sarah ❤️.” It said, “Daniel, why did you marry her?” Emma froze. Sarah was Daniel’s first wife—and she had died three years before Emma met him. She opened the conversation and found dozens of recent messages: “I can see you.” “She doesn't belong in our house.” “Tell her to leave.” Terrified, Emma deleted them, but another message immediately appeared: “Why did you delete my messages?” Then the phone began ringing, and the caller ID showed Sarah’s name. Daniel suddenly opened his eyes and whispered, “Don’t answer.” When Emma asked why, his face went pale. “Because the last time she called… I answered.” The phone stopped, but then a woman’s voice whispered from the dark hallway, “Daniel… I’m still waiting for you.” Emma and Daniel stared toward the darkness, realizing the voice wasn't coming from the phone—it was coming from inside their house.
