For months, Daniel noticed his wife Emily doing something strange while she slept—she always kept her eyes slightly open. At first, he thought it was harmless, until one night he woke at 3:14 a.m. and saw her sitting upright, staring directly at him without blinking. “Emily?” he whispered. She slowly smiled and lay back down without saying a word. The next morning, she remembered nothing. A week later, it happened again, but this time Daniel heard her whispering toward the empty corner of the bedroom: “He still thinks I’m asleep.” Terrified, Daniel turned on the light, but Emily was lying normally beside him, completely asleep. He checked the room and found nothing. The following night, Daniel secretly placed his phone on a shelf to record her while they slept. At 3:14 a.m., the recording showed Emily sitting upright again, staring at him. Then something moved behind her—a tall, dark figure leaning close to her ear. Emily whispered, “He can see you now.” The figure slowly turned toward the camera, and the recording suddenly ended. When Daniel played it back the next morning, he noticed something that made him stop breathing: the figure wasn't standing behind Emily. It was standing behind him.
