THE LAST PASSENGER

A taxi driver picked up a woman at 3 AM.
She gave him an address and sat silently in the back.

Halfway there, she said,

“Please don’t look at me in the mirror.”

The driver laughed nervously.

“Why?”

“Because if you do, you’ll see what happened to me.”

He stopped laughing.

A few minutes later, curiosity won.

He looked into the rear-view mirror.

The back seat was empty.

He slammed on the brakes.

His radio suddenly turned on by itself.

A woman’s voice whispered,

“Why did you look?”

The driver turned around.

She was sitting directly behind him.

Her face was covered in blood.

Then she smiled.

“You were warned.”

The next thing he saw…

Daniel looked in the mirror again.

The woman was gone.

Instead, there was an old photograph on the back seat.

It showed the same taxi and the same woman—twenty years earlier.

Daniel turned it over.

Written on the back were four words:

“You picked me up before.”

The radio crackled.

Her voice whispered:

“You forgot me.”

Then three knocks came from inside the trunk.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Daniel froze.

And a voice whispered directly behind him:

“Now… you remember.” 👇
