The story claims that the room was created for information considered too dangerous to store anywhere else. Inside, supposedly, are classified documents describing unexplained aircraft, mysterious signals detected from deep space, and photographs of objects recovered from locations where no aircraft had officially crashed. One former worker, according to the legend, was taken underground late one night and shown a folder marked with a single word: “ORIGIN.” Inside were photographs of strange metallic fragments and handwritten reports describing technology that appeared decades ahead of its time. Before he was allowed to leave, an officer allegedly told him, “You didn't see this room.” The next morning, the worker discovered that his security badge no longer worked, his employment records had disappeared, and even the elevator he had used to reach the underground level seemed to lead somewhere completely different.
