The Message I Wasn't Supposed to See

At exactly 2:13 AM, my phone suddenly vibrated.

I was half asleep, so I almost ignored it.

Then it vibrated again.

I picked it up.

There was a message from my own phone number.

I stared at the screen.

The message said:

“Don't open the door.”

I thought it was some kind of glitch.

Then I heard three knocks.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I froze.

Nobody knew I was awake.

I slowly walked toward the door.

Another message appeared.

“I told you. Don't open it.”

My heart started beating faster.

I looked through the peephole.

Nobody was there.

I stepped away from the door.

Then my phone vibrated again.

This time the message said:

“Good. Now check the window.”

I slowly turned around.

The curtains were moving.

I grabbed my phone and called my brother.

He answered immediately.

I whispered:

“Are you sending me these messages?”

There was silence.

Then he said:

“What messages?”

I looked at my phone.

The entire conversation had disappeared.

I was about to tell him everything when another message appeared.

“Stop calling people.”

I dropped the phone.

Then I noticed something I hadn't noticed before.

The message wasn't coming from my phone number anymore.

It was coming from:

“Bedroom.”

I looked toward my bedroom.

And suddenly remembered something.

I don't have a bedroom.

I live in a studio apartment. 😐😂

👀 The Twist

Apparently, the scariest thing in my apartment wasn't a ghost.

It was my imagination after watching too many horror movies. 🤣
